Thanks, I read through the Dept. of Ed. and a bunch of other sites, and I’m glad I’m not a lawyer. As far as I can tell, to be on the safe side, we’ll want student permission to post their papers (which makes sense anyway, I think).
The Geology comps papers all come with a signed sheet saying that the student understands that their comps will be bound in the library and available for use and copy by other people. Hopefully we could modify that form to include web publishing of the papers.
