The Federal Elections Project at the American University’s School of Public Affairs offers year 2000 election data by state and county.
Results for the 2000 presidential election are available for all counties. Then, for each state, downloads are available for the presidential general election plus various statewide elections, such as governor and board of education, as well as some constitutional amendments and voter turnout.
Some elections data are also matched with racial data from the 2000 Census.
