On this web site, you’ll find data on D.C. neighborhoods — population, race and ethnicity, income, poverty, employment, education, public assistance, single-parent families, low weight and teen births, income, housing, crime and more.

Geographical scope: The site provides neighborhood information defined by various geographies such as council wards, neighborhood clusters and police service areas.

Sources: Data is drawn from multiple sources including the CensusCD Neighborhood Change Database (based on Decennial Census data 1980, 1990, and 2000), the Metropolitan Police Department and other DC agencies, and the FFIEC Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.
