It consists of signed articles and statistical tables on topics such as state finance and demographics, state political parties, elections, and ethics and the constitutions and branches of state governments. Published by the Council of State Governments (CSG), it is a core reference publication on the states. Gould Library just received the 2005 edition in the reference collection.
